our installation in the arboretum from a while back, bank heist (inverted), recently resurfaced.i met with the woman who runs the arboretum and she sent me photos from her crew after they had un-installed the piece in the woods. this is almost a year ago. here is how their email described it
Darrin came across this “art” installation on Yew Hill at the end of the day last Fri.
It was certainly creative, if not a little creepy. The box was anchored to the ground with the auger and secured with a ratchet strap. 9 fake security cameras were screwed into several trees surrounding the box. The cameras have motion detectors, so they blinked and moved when we approached.
We decided to remove the installation as several cameras were screwed directly into trees, including a few collections.
